Meet Dr. Currier

Why is Dr. Megan Currier the right choice to be your family dentist?

Dr. Megan Harvin Currier is a local from Tangipahoa Parish, who knew since high school she wanted to become a dentist. She began her journey in the field of dentistry as a dental assistant when she was 17 years old. Originally from Kentwood, LA, she moved to Hammond to attend Southeastern Louisiana University where she received her Bachelor's degree in Organismal and Integrated Biology. From there, she attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Currier is married to Ross Currier, a high school football coach at Jewel M. Sumner High School. They adore spending time with their sons Vincent & Gabe! They also enjoy their lovable Labrador, Lucy. When Dr. Currier is not practicing dentistry, she loves traveling, cooking, baking for loved ones, watching football, and being outdoors. Dr. Currier is a CASA volunteer with the LA Foster Care System and a member of the Hammond Chamber of Commerce. She loves her Hammond Community! She also loves helping her patients feel comfortable while achieving their best smile! Her goal is for every patient to "Smile with Confidence".

Ava Basso

She has been a hygienist here since 1984. Mrs. Ava resides in Ponchatoula with her husband of 30 years Mark. They have two girls Kristi and Emily and Emilys soon to be husband, Travis. She loves her two boxers, Toula Roux and Wilson who keep her on her feet. She is a member of Millville Baptist Church. She is currently restoring a 117 year old farmhouse in Liberty, Ms where she hopes to retire to and raise goats and farm animals that she can hug.

Kassy Lacoste

Kassy has been in the dental field since 2015. She loves each of her patients and the special bonds she has with them. Kassy is married to Jeremie and they have two girls, Julianne & Jenna. They have another baby on the way, due August 2022. In her free time Kassy likes to work out at Crossfit with her husband.

Danae Lacoste

Danae is our D.D.S Appointment Coordinator. She has been married for over 25 years to Kenny Lacoste. She has 4 children - Kassy, Kaylin, Sydney, and Sawyer. Her oldest child, Kassy is actually one of our Dental Assistants at Currier Dental Studio. Danae loves working closely with her daughter and has a close relationship with all 4 of her children. Danae's hobbies include spending quality time with her family and working out at Crossfit.

Jennifer Davis

Jennifer W. Davis has been a registered dental hygienist since 2002. She is a proud graduate of Ponchatoula High School and LSU School of Dentistry. She resides in Ponchatoula, LA with her husband Ben, daughter Shelby, and son Grant. They have two rescue animals - Peep the cat, and Brass the Chocolate Lab. She is an active member of Millville Baptist Church. Her hobbies include vacationing, shopping, and restoring old furniture with her husband.

Erin Prevost

Erin Prevost is our office manager and has been in dentistry for over 14 years. Erin is skilled in providing knowledge of most dental insurance coverages, coding, and treatment planning of dental visits. She resides in Ponchatoula, LA with her husband, Travis. They have 2 very energetic boys, Jordan and Jase. In Erin's free time she likes to cook and entertain, travel, and serve at her church. Erin's life motto is to help restore hope into people's lives, through the love of Jesus.

Brooke Verdin

Brooke Verdin is our Dental Hygiene Coordinator. She has over 5 years of dental experience. Brooke is from Ponchatoula and has lived there her entire life. She just recently married her high school sweetheart, Nathan, in October. She has a new addition to the family, her baby girl Audrey. She loves dogs and currently has two. In her spare time, she likes to complete home projects and go shopping at Hobby Lobby!

Kelsey Lewis

Kelsey has been in the dental field for over 10-years now, She is from Kentwood where she lives with her husband Brock and their son, Greyson. She has a sweet dachshund named Lucy which is like her second baby. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and binge watch her favorite shows.

Paige Good

Paige is our newest addition to our dental team. She has been a dental assistant for 7 years now. Paige lives in Ponchatoula with her beautiful one year old daughter, Juliet. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family fishing and crabbing in Reggio.

Vincent Giannobile

Vincent has worked here for over 18 years. He is our Security Officer. Due to the dental office being open at night, we like to provide a sense of extra protection for our patients. Vincent is a retired Hammond Police Officer with a 40 year career. Vincent has been married for 42 year to Mrs. Carolyn Catalanatto Giannobile. They have two children and six grandchildren who keep him very busy! His hobbies include sports cars and riding motorcycles.
